A short, honest note on why the site exists: not to be a giant platform, but to remove small daily friction with focused browser utilities.
Most of the problems I build tools for aren't impressive. They're the small, recurring annoyances that eat a few minutes each and never feel worth fixing properly.
The small-problem mindset
A file that's 10 KB too big. An image that needs to be a specific size. A JSON blob that needs formatting to be readable. Individually, each is a two-minute chore. But these chores add up, and they reuse the same three or four shapes.
Focused over sprawling
Instead of one giant “do everything” portal, I prefer small tools that do one thing and do it clearly. You land on a page, you complete the task, you leave. No account, no onboarding, no clutter.
Processing close to the work
Wherever a task can run entirely in the browser, it should. Your file stays on your device, which means fewer decisions about privacy and no waiting on a server for something that didn't need one.
Why this blog
This blog is where I write down the real problems behind each tool — the thing I was trying to do, the manual work, and the tool that helped. If a tool helps you too, great. If not, the explanation might still be useful.
