Open Graph tags are meta tags that tell social platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord, Slack, etc.) how to display a preview when your URL is shared. They control the title, description, image, and URL shown in the card.

For high-resolution displays on social timelines, the recommended size is 1200 × 630 pixels, maintaining a 1.91:1 landscape aspect ratio. File size should be under 8MB. Use HTTPS absolute URLs.

The image URL must be absolute, publicly reachable, and reasonably sized. Also note platforms cache previews aggressively — after fixing tags, request a refresh from the platform's debugger.
